About Me
Hi, I'm Jeannie - owner & founder of the Adventure Pups Shop.
I have loved dogs all my life and even as a child, all I ever wanted was an active dog I could be out and about with.

For my 30th birthday, I finally made my dream a reality and got Loki, a Border Collie x Kelpie-Koolie, who keeps me on my toes in the best possible way. Since getting Loki, so much in my life has changed - I realised that my love and passion for dogs is a lot more profound than I originally thought, and so I quit my corporate job to work with dogs full-time. Safe to say that I'm absolutely loving it!
Loki and I live on the Sydney Northern Beaches, and we absolutely love spending time outdoors. Being the active breed that he is, he loves going on adventures - be it on bush tracks, in muddy dog parks playing catch with his frisbee on rainy days or on the beach chasing the waves.
The muddier the paws, the better the adventure!
...how the Adventure Pups Shop came about...

One thing I noticed very early on was that dog accessories, particularly collars, get dirty and smelly extremely quickly; especially when exposed to saltwater and sand on a regular basis. Talking to other dog owners on our walks, I quickly noticed that I wasn't the only one frustrated with this issue, so I looked into it further.
I realised that there wasn't a lot of options for waterproof, easy to clean dog collars and leads and so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
After the initial trial & error stage and lots of testing by Loki and his friends, I had finally found the right materials and was able to make a waterproof product I was truly happy with.
Adventure Pups was born - my own brand of customisable, adventure ready dog collars & leads.
